When you contact us
We use the name, email address, subject, and message you provide to answer questions and help with purchases or course access. Website form submissions pass through Cloudflare and are sent through Gmail to Ron’s business inbox. Your email address is used as the reply address. We keep correspondence in that inbox for support; the form does not create a separate message database or intentionally log message contents.
Cloudflare uses connection information and short-lived request counters to limit spam. The form also checks a hidden spam field and how long it has been open. Gmail accepting a message does not guarantee inbox delivery. If you book a call through Calendly, the booking details are used to arrange that call.
Please do not include passwords, full card numbers, or other sensitive payment details in messages.
When you buy the course
PayPal handles checkout and payment details. We receive payment information, including the payer’s name and email, transaction reference, amount, currency, and payment status. We use these records to verify payment, match a purchase to a student, provide access, and handle support or refunds.
The name and email used at checkout are used to create or match your course account. Contact Ron before paying if the payer and student are different people.
Your student account
HVAC Boot Camp is delivered through HVAC Training Academy. Account and course records include your name, email, username, enrollment and access dates, and learning activity such as quiz results and progress. We use these records to deliver the course and help with account or learning questions.
Account emails, including password links, are service messages. Keep password links private. The student site uses session cookies to support sign-in and course use.
Website visits and cookies
Cloudflare hosts this marketing site and processes connection information to deliver and protect it. When Google Analytics is enabled on the public site, it measures visits and actions such as opening a checkout link or contacting us. It uses cookies and browser or device information. The development preview does not send visits to our public Google Analytics stream.
Our marketing events do not intentionally include names, email addresses, or payment identifiers. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can manage cookies in your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking essential course cookies may prevent sign-in.
Embedded and linked services
Public lessons may use an embedded YouTube player, and the contact page includes an embedded Calendly scheduler. Loading an embedded service or following a link to YouTube, Calendly, PayPal, or the student site connects you to that provider, which has its own privacy information. Those providers may process device, connection, cookie, and account information under their own terms.
We use hosting, payment, scheduling, email, and course services to operate the training business. Information needed for those functions passes through the relevant provider. This notice does not describe independent uses a provider makes of information you give it directly.
Questions, corrections, and deletion requests
Email Ron to ask about your information, correct an account detail, or request deletion. Include the email used for the inquiry or account so we can locate the records. We may need to verify that the request is yours. Some payment, accounting, dispute, or security records may need to be retained; we will explain any limits that affect your request. Deleting an account can affect course access.
If our practices change, we will update this page and its date.
