Hooking Up Your Refrigerant Gauges

Safety is of the utmost importance when hooking up your refrigeration gauges. With the new environmentally friendly freon (R410A) pressure run upwards of 350 psi. If you are careless, you can end up with severe frostbite and burns. When R410A goes from 350 psi to 0 psi, the temperature of the refrigerant drops from 106 degrees to -60 degrees. -60 degree liquid freon on your skin hurts! Here's a quick video on how to hook up your refrigeration gauges to prevent getting freon burns. ALWAYS WEAR PROPER PPE!
