Chances are, very shortly after you get hired as an HVAC technician, you will run into this situation. You'll arrive at the shop in the morning and someone will hand you a universal 'Rescue' motor and an address. You'll be instructed to, "Go to Mrs. Jones' home and install this condenser fan motor. Mike (some other tech) diagnosed this last night and he's already on a call this morning." You are a bit apprehensive because this is the first condenser fan motor you've installed, but after looking at the condenser fan motor and seeing just a few wires, it doesn't seem too difficult. You hop in your service van and take off to the call.
