MichaelGood Morning to all of my LinkedIn Connections!

From time to time, a prospective HVAC tech reaches out to me for my opinion and maybe, you can help me help Michael. Here is his question:

Hi! I’m interested in getting in getting certified as an HVAC technician, and I was wondering if you’d be able to give me any advice on which vocational school I should go to (how much worthwhile experience they would offer, hiring prospects, etc.). I’m worried that I might get certified at one place, but then every business prefers some other trade school. This whole thing is daunting to me. Thanks for any help.

My response was, “I always hire for character, train for skill.” Can you help me help Michael?

I will forward all of your responses to him.

As you may or may not know, I provide online HVAC training for those who would like to learn HVAC but cannot afford to quit their jobs to attend school. I also provide NATE prep, Commercial Refrigeration for HVAC Techs, and Electrical for HVACR courses… a shameless plug, I know.
